I have been babysitting little Abi for about two months now. She is a sixth month old little bundle of joy! I hope today was just a fluke and not showing signs that I am getting old! I have been fighting the sinus war for a long time. I think that was my problem. While Abi was sleeping and the kids were hard at work on the computers, I actually had to lay down for a moment! Later while she lay sleeping in my arms, I was dozing off again! I hope it's just the cold medicine! I am way too young to be this tired!
Oh well, now time to fix supper and on to the next thing!

Will you follow me?
Am I really getting this old? The days go by too fast. Wasn't it just summer? These are questions I seem to be asking myself lately! Some days I can't get anything done, others I am looking around to find something to do! Maybe I just forgot what I was supposed to do! I have so many projects started, but will they be completed?
School is going good. We just started an on-line program. Dylan actually asked to do more today! WOW!!! If we can get the technical issues solved I think this will be a great program. Julia asked if she could move on to 2nd grade! I like the possibility of moving ahead!
Planning Christmas...more to come!
I want to build my blog in order to do more on-line work! So, please be one of my "followers" and help me boost by ratings! If you have any questions on how to do this, let me know!

New Curriculum
I just bought an on-line curriculum to try out with the kiddos. I know we are already into the school year, but I see we need something to break up the time! The kids are excited. We have only had one day with it, so far. I pray this will work for us. I will let you know!

Vacation over!
Oh well, back at home after a great vacation in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Curtis and I celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary this past Tuesday, Nov. 9. It has been an awesome 14 years. I know God has truly blessed our marriage because we put him first!
We decided to take a family trip so we could all enjoy the Christmas lights while Curtis was off. He is now working a 12 hour swing shift job that takes him away many nights and makes him sleep the days he is here. We are blessed to have the job and pray that God will open a new door soon with better hours and pay! The pay is great, but God is greater!!!
Now it's back to "life" here on the home front! The week started off with Curtis' truck radiator messed up....God has something better in store!!! Can't wait to see what it is!!!

Homebody, that's me?
Yep, I think I am officially a homebody! I love the days when there is NOTHING to do!! I can stay in my sweats all day!!! Of course, I still haven't made it to the "sittin' around" part...don't think I ever will! There is always something to do here! School has been so great lately! The kids seem so much more content and are really doing a great job!
Our morning routine consists of breakfast, prayer time/devotion, assigning school work, put on a load of clothes, dishes, lunch break, back to school, switch clothes, decide on supper, finish school, wait on Curtis or see him off to work, and then relax for the evening. Now keep in mind we have church on Sunday (morning and night), AWANA on Wednesdays, Abigail on Wednesday and Thursday, and whatever else we schedule for fun! Oh yeah, and there is the occassional unexpected that likes to pop up ever so often!!! Life is so good!!!
I am so blessed!

Football!!!
If you had asked me if Dylan would ever play football, I would have said "probably not". He has really suprised me this year! He has become a little aggressive, mean machine. He is playing for the 9-10 y.o. division at the Gordon County Rec. Dept. His team is the Saints and he is #6. He has even said he will be playing next year! Dylan has been able to play nosegard for his team. He was part of a tackle and had his named called from the announcer's booth! Most of the team is new to football, too. He talks about it all the time!
Julia has been able to cheer for Dylan's team this year! They are all so cute. All of the girls have seemed to just bond so quickly. Julia has loved this sport! It is fun to watch my kids get involved in something they love!!

Prayer
We all face many trials each day or we know someone, maybe many others, who is. Just lift them up to Jesus!!! He is more than able to take care of all our needs, without our help!! Pray and keep on praying!!! Never give up on your situation! God is faithful...NO MATTER WHAT!
